Hi girls, I had sex on Monday “unprotected” for a while then put the condom on. Note my period app said I was ovulating that day. He finished on the condom buy My paranoid self bought plan b and took it that same day. Started my pack of pills yesterday. What should I expect or prepare for ? Will my period be late? Any experiences similar to this one ? I know I put myself in this situation. Sorry dumb b*tch move.

Have you only just started birth control yesterday?

You don’t ovulate when you’re on birth control sooo there’s no period, you either have a breakthrough bleed which happens when you take your active pills or a withdrawal bleed which happens when you bleed on break week.

You don't have a period on birth control pills and we can't calculate when you will start any bleeding.

@Gf17 you have taken a plan b which was the right thing to do as you had unprotected sex. The only thing you can do now is to take a test three weeks after having unprotected sex. Read the pamphlet of your pill to know when you can have unprotected sex, it will most likely be after taking 8 pills.
