I can’t do straight shots of stuff either. I used to try to force myself because I thought everyone would judge me and I’d force myself and throw up more or only be able to drink half it and just gag. I didn’t want to feel like I was being difficult then realized how silly that was and they all want me to drink stuff i like and don’t care if it’s different. Dont drink anything that makes you feel sick or you don’t want to do. Listen to your body.
I’ve learned I can do shots now but only mixed shots like Washington apples, kamikaze, green tea, Scooby snacks, bombs, pineapple upside down, Cinnamon Toast Crunch, pancake with OJ chaser. They’re not as strong and don’t have the aggressive taste of straight alcohol. But be careful because it can be more dangerous doing more because they sneak up on you since they taste good.
If you dont have anyone to make them for you at home/get together if you’re not great mixing yourself just try making your own simple mix. Add alittle mixer (cranberry, club soda, oj, etc) in and you’d be surprised how much a difference it can make.
