can BC affect the smell of your vagina? i switched brands and for whatever reason my vagina has been smelling more… horrid lately LOL

No. If your vagina smells “horrid” you should see a doctor asap.

@honeypot3 sorry, that was more of an overstatement haha. my vagina doesn’t usually smell, but lately it has been. i don’t know if it’s because I haven’t been washing it as much (I used to do 2-3 times) or because of stress? it’s hard to explain but thank you for your response

@bubbletea ah well yes washing is important but make sure not to use soap on your vag as it can actually worsen your problem! Bad odors usually means something is wrong!

Changes in odor can happen througout your cycle or if you are sweating more, wearing different clothes etc. If it's a bad or foul odor that can be a sign of infection
