@Enidtza I’m a little confused (I’m a noob though)...and interested! Does this mean skipping the placebo week or just not having a period in general when on BC?

@Scaredx2 you don’t have a period on hormonal birth control. You can skip the placebo week to avoid having a withdrawal bleed. It’s always possible that you may experience breakthrough bleeding though, whether or not you skip the break weeks.

@iSunday yup. You can always experience breakthrough bleeding, but it hasn’t happened to me yet.

I have had like 2 or 3 break weeks since starting the pill nearly 4 years ago, and i only had those break weeks as i ran out of pills (new user mistake) or was switching pill brand
