Excuse me while I vent 😩 Today was the first day of my phlebotomy externship and wow was it overwhelming. My trainer was very vague with me and had a very cold attitude which I didn’t appreciate honestly. No one there talks to you either. I’m not exaggerating when I say it’s been a LONG day. Incredibly small office with so much work to do and it was hard. I honestly had to take a break because it was too much. Hopefully tomorrow is easier. I have to be there until Friday… I’m hoping I can push through because I really felt like giving up today. I definitely know I won’t be applying there lol.

Definitely see if you could possibly switch locations. You’re internship is a time to learn and grow, days can and should be challenging to push you but you shouldn’t have to feel that way on your very first day. Get away from the negative environment if you can! Some people make work miserable unfortunately. I’m sorry ❤️
