My pills don’t align with my period (but I did start them the sunday after my period ended and it ended on Saturday) I’m taking my placebo pills on days that I don’t have my period and should be taking regular ones. What do I do?

Your period cycle is irrelevant. You no longer have a period because you’re on birth control. You might experience withdrawal bleeding during your break week but this is not a period. You could also experience breakthrough bleeding, but again, that’s not a period either. It’s completely irrelevant now.

@Princessunfi it’s not a period when you’re on the pill. Bleeding during active pills is breakthrough bleeding, a normal side effect of the pill. Bleeding on your break week is withdrawal bleeding from the drop in hormones.

@Princessunfi irregular bleeding is normal for the first 6 months.
