I’m on the lo loestrin fe pill and I’ve been having really bad headaches. I’ve been on the people on and off since October 2022 but I’ve just noticed the bad headaches about 2 months ago. When I take the pill it’s really bad but when I don’t take the pill it’s not as bad. I talked to my OBGYN about it once and she said it could be from my hairstyle but my hair wasn’t freshly done.

I’m on Junel and recently went to my opthamologist and endocrinologist for my thyroid issues. I thought I had Graves’ disease because of my eye pain and thyroid levels. They think it’s ocular migraines due to my birth control because it is a side effect. Never knew that but BC pills have soooo many side effects. I experienced bad yeast infections on Lo loestrin and I’ve been told by my gyno “it’s not the birth control”. I followed my gut, switched my pill and Haven’t had a yeast infection since :). Follow your gut

Also maybe check in with your primary and a neurologist to make sure it’s nothing else underlying

@Lanaya69 I’m really concerned about my headaches considering the fact my cousin had the same symptom and became blind in her right eye.

@Justroses456 I’m currently going through pretty bad headaches and eye pain so I can definitely understand your fear! If pain is becoming unbearable, seek emergency care but if manageable, I suggest setting an appointment with your doctor. They might suggest a CT or MRI by a neurologist. Im currently waiting on my own. I’d also suggest an appointment with your gyno about pill side effects
