Possibly TW mention of car accident On Wednesday I went to my orthopedic follow up appointment for my neck pain from the car accident. He said that he would send a prescription to a pharmacy and it would be mailed to my house because regular pharmacies don’t carry it. It’s something that I am basically supposed to massage into my neck in the area that hurts when it does. How long would you give until the prescription doesn’t show up to contact your doctor and ask about the prescription? I haven’t received any phone calls from a pharmacy either unless they only call if it’s not covered under my insurance or there is another issue. Because one time my gastroenterologist prescribed me something that also needed to be mailed in because most pharmacies don’t approve of it. Though I got a phone call from the pharmacy letting me know that it might not be covered. They asked for my insurance information and address. Then I would get a phone call back if my insurance covered it or not which it did because my doctor showed enough proof that I needed it.

If your insurance doesn’t cover the medication your pharmacy will notify you immediately. When was your medication prescribed?

@Pandafan1 usually doctors submit prescriptions right away so maybe you will get it on Monday. If you don’t get it by then, call your doctor.
