Hello everyone I’m a little confused about this feature on the app where it tells you weather you’re protected or not, so my doctor told me I’d be protected after the first 7 pills (a week) but on the app it appears as “unprotected” do y’all think it’s the app that’s wrong or my doctor lol? 💤💊💊💊💊💊💊💊

The app has many flaws. Don’t base your protections solely on an app. You are protected after 7 days of taking the pill. As long as you take it correctly you’ll be protected at all times.

Taken from this {G2o5695D1} - “It takes 168 hours for the pill to shut down ovarian activity- that’s a FULL seven days. 168 hours after you take pill #1, you take pill #8. So the 8th pill isn’t really what matters it’s just that when you take that 8th pill that also indicates it’s been a full 7 days/168 hours. Personally I don’t think there’s a big difference between having sex in between pill 7 and 8, but i guess waiting until after pill 8 is more cautionary. Some pill pamphlets don’t even say 7 days, they just say 7 PILLS.” The app just goes by the 168 hour rule so when you take your 8th pill it’ll say you’re protected, but as put above it doesn’t really matter if you have sex between the 7th & 8th pill.
