You have a 24 hour window to take your pill. If you took your pills correctly, you aren’t pregnant

If you take your pills correctly you will always be protected. If you aren’t sure how your pill works or don’t trust it fully I recommend using condoms X

A pill will be absorbed about 3-4 hours after, but you only need to keep this in mind for diarrhea and vomiting. Eg. If you take your pill and vomit 30 mins later, you should take another because it didn’t fully absorb. If you have been taking pills the days before the one you just took, you are protected.

It means that if you throw up within 2 hours of taking your birth control, you’d have to take another one
