hi everyone ! Was just wondering if anyone knows the T&C’s when it comes to booking a hotel. Me and my boyfriend are going away for the night in Edinburgh, he’s 19 and the main booker whereas i will only be 17. Is that okay?

Check the hotel’s policy? I don’t think it’s a problem, they only take details of the person who books the room.

I believe you should be able to look at the policies in the booking confirmation because each hotel is different. The one I worked at everybody in the room has to be 18 and over unless it’s a child with their parent.

It just says, No one under the age of 18 can book. But they didn’t ask any other persons age or name or details at the booking, just the overall main booker. I read online it’s because under 18s can’t sign legally binding contacts ie cancellation fees which is why the 18 year old has to be lead booker

Really depends on the hotel you could call them and ask I’m sure they’ll answer your questions

Probably best to give them a quick ring and double check to be sure, saves you potentially wasting any money :)
