So I finally got my 23andMe results back today and turns out I'm almost 100% British through and through 😂 a smidgeon Irish, and 6% French and German although it couldn't locate exactly where in france and germany. I had a feeling I wouldn't have any exciting or unknown heritage anywhere else.

how long did it take to get your results back?! i’m so interested in doing this

@teamedward well it reached their lab on August 20th and only just got them today. I ordered them on the 30th July so took a while but it takes a few weeks to make it from the UK to their lab in North Carolina. Was fun to get my results though as it has found a lot of relatives, some I've already confirmed as correct.

None of the relatives for me are close cousins. It’s all like 2nd to 6th cousins or distant cousins. I knew a lot of my results were going to be Asian. 100% Chinese.

@Pandafan1 i had about 4 2nd cousins and the rest 3rd and up. I found them through Facebook and confirmed they had family members of mine on there they interacted with to confirm it. I also seem to have alot American cousins, 2 being the hightest percent DNA match.
