I am so confused… I went to use the bathroom earlier (#2) and when I wiped, there was bright red blood on the toilet paper. It looked like I had gotten my period… however when I used a fresh toilet paper and wiped the front, no blood. I checked again while wiping the back and sure enough there was blood. I examined myself and didn’t see any cuts or obvious signs of something causing the bleeding. This has never happened to me before and my health anxiety is acting up. Thinking the worst. I would like to add that I just recovered from having Covid and haven’t been drinking much water, but I’m just at a loss right now.

I’d go to the doctor, it’s super unlikely it’s anything serious but you should go to the doctor for bleeding from there

This is pretty common and it’s usually because of hemorrhoids or a small cut somewhere. If it happens more than this one time you should go to the doctor just in case just because it’s impossible to tell 100% from the symptoms what it is. But you really shouldn’t worry too much because it’s most likely something really harmless that will heal on its own.
