Hi guys, I’ve just started the pill (well I’m on my 11th day and started day 1 of my period) and I’m wondering is it normal to have spotting for like 4/5 days after my ‘period’ ended? Is it a side effect of starting the pill? Would appreciate any info thank you :)

yup that’s breakthrough bleeding, completely normal and can occur at any time

Yeah it’s a side effect! You can experience breakthrough bleeding at any time, it’s very common especially as you’re still adjusting to your pill (could take up to 6 months to adjust fully)
