Heyo! Need advice cause I’m not sure what to do. But there’s a guy who ex girlfriend I used to be friends with before they broke up. Who comes into my work and he always says “hey gorgeous” or “how’s it going beautiful” and always complementing me which is nice but it makes me uncomfortable and I’m not sure if I should say something. Like his always been a nice a guy and he’s never done me wrong, but it just makes me really uncomfortable and it’s obvious that it makes me uncomfortable cause I start to stutter and I’m pale, so I can feel my cheeks heating up. If you were in this situation, would you say something if it made you uncomfortable? And what would you say?

Could you get one of your coworkers to talk to him and tell him that the comments make you uncomfortable?

Do you mean telling him something or telling the ex girlfriend something?

I would just tell him directly!! You don’t have to be really serious or anything, just a casual “hey! Really appreciate all the compliments, but they just make me a bit uncomfortable since I’m at work and all”

Just tell him it makes you uncomfortable. It he’s as great of a guy as you claim then he wouldn’t be having an issue with it.
