I got my nose pierced about 2 months ago with the intention of switching it to a ring as soon as possible, the piercer said to wait 4 months before I take it out but would it be ok to switch to a hoop now or is it still too soon?

Noooo DONT DO IT

wait wait wait

Yes, there’s a reason why they told you to wait 4 months! Take the recommendation and wait for four months!

@taylinnn19 @Mizzy_ ughhh I figured that was probably the best choice I’m just so antsy on quarantine! Thanks guys 😊

Listen.... I don’t recommend switching it because your piercer told you not to. But, I switched my nostril piercing to a hoop after two weeks. If it’s a septum piercing though, don’t switch it yet!

PLEASE listen to your piercer, it’s their profession to know about the healing process for all kinds of piercings. If they say at least 4 months, don’t try to take it out before

I switched mine not even a week after i got it done and i regret it so much! I got it done about 11 months ago and its been infected for about 8/11 of those months - dont do it!! Its better now but theres a permanent little mark that i cant get rid of, not worth it!

you’ll get a big bump on the piercing called a keloid and they are hard to get rid of. It’s caused by friction and the piercing not being healed enough. Just wait.

I’ll wait! Thanks for the advice everyone!

I switched mine after 2 months to a different stud, and since then I’ve had a big red bump on it so wait!
