Topic: relationships, anniversaries, gifts I swear this isn't your typical "what do I get for my bf??" post LOL but skip over if you find that topic boring. Just wondering if you guys think a framed photo is too serious/sentimental as a first anniversary gift? I'm thinking about it but kinda on the fence because to me one year together isn't really THAT long so I'm not sure if my boyfriend wants to be displaying photos of us. Just feels kinda serious in a way to have framed pics of an SO. At the same time it is a sweet gift? Curious what y'all think

I think if he likes having framed pictures up then it’s a nice gift, I personally don’t like when people get me framed pics though as I’m fussy with my decor😂 x

Personally I would not get a photo for my bf for the 1st year anniversary since it personally would be too serious for me but it’s your relationship and every relationship is different if he likes photos and such go for it.

@Aj326 yeah that is partly my mindset as well. I didn't have any photos of us printed in my last relationship until we had been dating a couple years, but I do feel that this relationship is different and I don't think he'd be put off by it

Thank you everyone for your thoughts! I will probably get him 1-2 practical gifts and this will be the "sentimental" portion of the gift so it's not like the ONLY thing. Less pressure lol
