hi um ive just started my Pill on the 27th of August and on my fifth pill my boyfriend and i had unprotected sex and he came in me. I took a morning after pill the next day just incase (since i know you have to wait 7days to be protected for the first time). My normal menstrual cycle before i started taking the pill would be around 26days on avegrage. I am currently on my 31st day of this cycle and worried that i might be pregnant because i had unprotected sex before i reached 7 days? I took a pregnancy test a week ago and that was negative. Am i just late bc of the BC pills plus the morning after pill i took? Or should i test again? 🍭🍭🍭🍭💊💊💊💊💊💊💊💊💊💊💊💊💊💊💊💊💊💊💊💊💊🍭🍭💤 Brand: Estelle 35

Did you start the pill within the first 5 days of your period? If you did then you were protected immediately, otherwise you’d have to wait 7 days. Your old cycle doesn’t matter anymore because you no longer have a cycle on birth control. The “period” you get is fake and it’s completely irrelevant whether you bleed or not. You also have a 3-6 month adjustment period. You took a pregnancy test well after 3 weeks from the unprotected sex so it seems like the plan b worked. Next time be more responsible and don’t have condomless sex until you’re protected by the pill and until you and your partner have been tested for STI’s

Did you read my first comment? Read it again, I said that you took the pregnancy well after 3 weeks from the unprotected sex and it was negative, so it looks like the plan b did it’s job.

Also irregular bleeding is a common side effect of both birth control and plan b. The plan b could’ve been easily avoided
