Thrush won’t go and it’s killing my sex life. Any advice is appreciated!

Probiotics saved my life!! When i went to college i randomly started getting yeast infections when i had never ever gotten them before and it kept coming back until i started taking Rephresh Probiotics everyday, idk where you are from but if you have a Target where you live you order them online there because its cheaper online than in stores

Has it definitely been diagnosed as thrush by a doctor or are you self diagnosing?

@jyzn22 I’ve had 2 lots of swabs done at my doctors and 1 lot at a sexual health clinic, all came back saying thrush but the treatment doesn’t seem to he clearing it 😢

@nxaxs how long were you advised to treat it and how long has it been? I would go back to the doctor if it's been longer - they have different methods of treating it, like cream, a pill or a pessary.

@jyzn22 it started in January and they told me to buy an over the counter tablet, that didn’t help so i tried a pessary, still no success so i went back around april time and they told me to buy another over the counter one, still no success! So finally I went again and was like look this clearly isn’t working what else can we go and got prescribed a 7 day course of treatment, I am on day 6 and not seen an improvement so far

Garlic cloves as a suppository, switch 8-12 hours, gone in 2-3 days max. If you’re expecting your period it’ll go away on its own as the pH change from blood won’t let Candida survive. Also lower your sugar intake in your diet, it’s hidden in everything.

@nxaxs it must be so frustrating for you! Have they tried testing you again after treatment in case the thrush has actually been treated but something else is hiding behind it? I once thought I had thrush but after a negative test at the doctors, i was told based on the look of my skin in that area i have a skin condition called lichen sclerosis. My doctor gave me a cream to use that solved the problem and i'm to use it whenever it flares up again.

Are you with the same partner? Because he could have thrush and be passing it back to you.
