honestly, everybody is different and every pill and contraceptive is different. give it time and if you don’t like the symptoms in a month ask to switch to another pill or another form of BC.

Ideally you should go through the adjustment period. Sometimes your skin gets worse before it gets better. Since you are still new to taking your brand your body is still adjusting to being on the brand. There is a 3-6 month adjustment period. If after the adjustment period you are still not happy with the brand you are on you can contact your doctor and ask to try another brand. Know that every time you change your brand your body will need to adjust to the new brand which is another 3-6 month adjustment period.

It’s normal as your body is adjusting to the hormones. It should get better and then your skin probably will become super clear after the initial breakout. However if it seems like it’s getting worse after a month or so I would talk to your doctor. Personally I broke out super badly on tri sprintec, but only mildly on junel and now it’s basically cleared up after only a week. It all depends on your body
