Okay ladies I need some sort of answers. So yesterday I had gotten anxiety at school and basically lasted the whole day and I didn’t eat anything at all until later when I got home around 6 so I had drank a large cold brew which I normally don’t do and I don’t drink coffee On the regular or like ever unless it’s a cold brew and I usually drink a medium one. And I drank it while I still had anxiety and on an empty stomach while my head was hurting! I finally got home and it gave me the runs! 3 different times! And then it went away for awhile and I woke up this morning at 5:20 am with my heart beating fast, shortness of breath and being alittle shakey when I move. Now it’s 6:03 am and I don’t understand what’s going on. Any answer as to what is happening?!?

Sounds like your body is a bit overwhelmed with the caffeine. I used to get super shaky and my heart would beat crazy whenever I drank energy drinks to get me through my finals at uni lol

Drinking coffee on an empty already anxious stomach probably upset it further. Coffee is also a laxative. It should go away shortly. Caffeine almost always makes me anxious, so now I drink decaf.

^ coffee is a laxative & you drank a lot of caffeine on an empty stomach, so your body is just reacting to it

You just drank too much coffee. Cold brew is usually stronger than regular coffee as well.

I also don’t recommend drinking coffee when anxious, caffeine heightens anxiety.
