Hi ladies! I’ve decided I’m going to switch from the pill to the implant. I’ve been putting it off for a while bc my skin finally cleared up and I didn’t want to mess with that, but I have IBS and I’m pretty sure it’s affecting the effectiveness of my pill. SO- Any advice before getting the arm implant? Any major side effects such as acne or worse periods? Thank you all in advance!

Have you gone to the gastroenterologist for your IBS? I have IBS as well. I try to avoid my trigger foods and take medicine my doctor prescribed me for my stomach to not freak out when I’m eating and so I don’t have to be paranoid when eating out. Headaches, Breast pain, Nausea, Weight gain, Ovarian cysts, Sometimes the implant causes long-term spotting, or periods get longer and heavier.
