literally the same questions get asked everyday and i guarantee that if they scrolled they would find the answer to their question. i’m sick of saying “anything that affects your birth control is on the nhs website” bc they don’t bother reading up on something that they put in their body 💀

@nikeyxo it’s just lazy and irresponsible in my opinion. It’s usually people than do not contribute to the forum too, they only come to ask questions and never help anyone. And when you tell them to use the search bar they tend get super defensive too? Read the rules before posting, sheesh... We have a saying here that goes: ”Liever lui dan moe.” And it translates into “rather (be) lazy than tired” I’m not sure if it works in English but it means people rather take the lazy way out than put in the tiniest bit of effort and have the solution. Always think of this with those repeated questions.

@Yi_eune exactly!! like i’m not on birth control (i was on the patch like a year and a half ago and do plan on going on the pill in the near future) and i went out of my way to educate myself on the pill to help people on the forum and to take off the pressure of the OG users because i know how annoying replying to the same posts it. i just find it crazy that people who are actually on the pill don’t bother educating themselves before asking questions.

I also don’t understand how people don’t know the BASICS of what’s going in their body.. like I know I’ve been asking certain questions aswell but I’ve seen so many users just ask stuff like “I didn’t get my period on the pill, what should I do?” Or “can I take paracetamol with the pill?” Etc and it’s shocking how they take the pill everyday but don’t know the simplest things about it

I love those daily am I protected ? Am I pregnant? questions when they been taking the pill regularly and on time or have 0% of getting pregnant based on “stuff” they did with their partner like if you have to ask those questions you should not have sex in the first place 🙂
