Hi so I haven’t been regulating to my pill that well lately and my doctor recommended that I get the bar, but I’m just a bit scared. Has anyone here had the bar or knows someone who had the bar, and if I should get it ?

by the bar do you mean the implant that goes in your arm? if so, there are a load of posts on this in the search bar so you should have a look there

my sister had the arm implant she has really bad side affects like really bad depression (she’s never had depression until she got the arm one)

everyone’s bodies are different. i just got the implanon yesterday (the bar) and have also heard all of the horror stories you probably have. i personally switched because i didn’t think the pill was working for me, made me very hormonal and emotional just not myself. you have to just do your research and see all of the side effects possible, weight pros and cons ect. remember it can always be taken out if you are unhappy with it :)

I have 0 side effects from the implant. Don’t be put off by the horror stories.

@Hissteria that’s what I’m thinking, I feel like I’m just super paranoid but it might be better for me than other people. Just I’ll never know unless I just get it done
