So i stop taking active pills tomorrow. Is the bleeding in that 7 day break a period or breakthrough bleeding (I’m finding it hard understanding the difference)
Is it common to not bleed in that week? Should I be worried if I do not bleed at all?
I’ve taken all 21 pills correctly

Breakthrough bleeding is bleeding during your active pills, withdrawal bleeding is bleeding during your break week. You don’t get periods on the pill, any bleeding is artificial
It is perfectly normal not to bleed during your break week, there is nothing to worry about

It’s a withdrawal bleed, due to your body basically ‘withdrawing’ from the hormones.
You may or may not bleed. As long as you’ve taken your pills correctly you’re good.

@Shsjivuhs i had sex with a condom on the 5th day using the pill (so I wasn’t protected by the pill) and just feel very anxious that something may have happened even though we know the condom was fine and there were no rips. I’m just very anxious and would feel better having a solid indication that I’m not pregnant

@virgomoon If you want solid indication take a pregnancy test after 3 weeks but like you said the condom was fine you’re taking your pills (I imagine you continued taking them on time after the 5th day) that’s basically two forms of backup methods so I don’t see why you should feel anxious.

@luaptsae it’s always how I’ve been. I spoke to the doctor about a pill that isn’t known for causing anxiety but I don’t think this is the one 😂😂

Like @luaptsae said, take a test in three week if it’ll ease your mind, but you’re absolutely fine xx
