Does any one that’s been pregnant or is in the health field know how early a women would be able to start feeling the symptoms of pregnancy? Last time I had sex was on the 30th of August. I’ve been having slight discomfort/pain in my lower back and very very little cramping like period cramps. I was due for a period but I’m late about going on the second week. I’ve had brown and reddish discharge, not enough I would count as a full on period. I’ve taken a test and I was negative. But it’s hasn’t been a full three weeks so that’s why I’m wondering about the other symptoms.

I didn’t know I was pregnant until I was three months and I wasn’t showing even then. (Planned and not on bc) But this post is under birth control. If you’ve taken your pills correctly and accounted for vomiting, missed, etc. then you shouldn’t be pregnant.

i wouldn’t be too worried since you have an IUD, take a test after the 3 weeks if you’re still worrie d

You can wait two weeks after sex to have an accurate test.

Although I had posted about feeling my strings lower then they were when they were put in, which is worrying me and making me think I might have been unprotected and didn’t even know 😕

@Lulu6756 Yes I know it has a sub-category that says pregnancy prevention so it was the only one I thought to use. I have an iud so that’s what I’m wondering about. I have an appointment on Wednesday but just looking for past experiences

Good thing you have an appointment. Do have them check your strings and everything so that you can be reassured.

Dear it’s impossible for a woman to feel any pregnancy symptoms this early. Cramping and brown/reddish discharge sounds like early stages of period or your period. Copper iud changes the way your uterus works. It can make your periods more intense but it also can lighten them sometimes. I wouldn’t be worried if I were you but I get the whole „paranoia” thing so just take a test or ask your gyno to take one. I know some doctors offer to take them at their odffice. And it will just ease your mind. Take care love and try not to stress yourself about it.

@lollylou I understand I’m being very paranoid at the moment just not in a position to become pregnant hence the IUD lol. I’m just worried that I’d be that less then 1% of women that something bad ends up happening to. I hope it all gets cleared up by Wednesday because I’ve been a total mess since about last week.

Most women start to feel symptoms around 3 - 4 weeks of being pregnant.
