i have just started taking contraception again. it says in my guide booklet thing that if i take the first pill on the first day of my period then i’m protected and don’t need to take any other precautions, but if it’s on days 2-5 they recommend condoms. i started my period on the 20th of june in the middle of the day and have only just been able to take my pill at 1.10am on the 21st. does that still count as the first day? or shall i use other protection still? thanks!
