I’m going on holiday next week and i’m worried my bleed will last until into the holiday. I’m not meant to bleed with my method of contraception but I’m currently getting up to 5 week long bleeds. However the bleeding itself is VERY light. I’m worried that if i use tampons on holiday when i want to go swimming, it will be painful to take out due to it staying quite dry from the little amount of bleeding. Is this the case or will it be okay?

I personally do find it uncomfortable to remove tampons when I'm not bleeding much and its very dry. That's why I prefer a menstrual cup. That said, if you're bleeding very lightly and swimming you can probably get away with not using anything.

Don’t use tampons if you don’t have a steady flow, it would just be uncomfortable and possibly cause friction. I agree with @aurielle where if your bleeding is light you probably don’t need to use anything anyway.

^ I agree! If the bleeding is light I just recommend wearing darker bathing suits if you have any
